Construction Superintendent

Comply with company safety standards

  • Minimum 2 years experience preferred in turnkey residential, light commercial, multi-family, and high volume production concrete estimating, including post-tension, conventional/rebar, pier & beam, and void box foundation designs

    *Experience with On Screen Take-Off preferred

    *Must be adept at utilizing Excel, Sheets, & Adobe

    *Candidate will be expected to uphold Texas Concrete Placement, Inc.’s standards of quality, time line, and communication with all parties involved in the construction process of a project

    *Candidate should be adept at maintaining an overall schedule of multiple estimates to complete at any given time, adjusting as necessary based on a number of factors

    Benefits include a cell phone allowance, milage reimbursement, availability of company heath, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance, direct deposit, bi-monthly pay, and participation in a company retirement plan after completing the qualifying time of employment. Pay commensurate with experience.

    *Must have knowledge of basic office software programs

    *Must have at least a high school diploma or GED, college is preferred, but not mandatory

    *Must be in good physical condition

    *Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

    *Candidate should be adept at maintaining an overall schedule of projects, adjusting as necessary based on a number of factors

    *Candidate will be expected to efficiently and accurately provide oversight to the work planning process by independently projecting, scheduling, and streamlining needs for safety, materials, subcontractors, and machinery

    *Candidate will be expected to ensure that work is completed to company standards, on-time, and meets requirements based on plans, engineering, and regulations that vary by jurisdiction

    *Candidate will be expected to uphold Texas Concrete Placement, Inc.’s standards of quality, time line, and communication with all parties involved in the construction process of a project

    *Candidate must have reliable transportation in the form of a pick-up truck, a clean driving record, and no criminal history (This position require extensive daily travel throughout the greater Houston region while managing multiple jobsites and projects.)

    *Candidate must be skilled at pulling a 16’ flat-bed trailer with truck on occasion

    *Candidate must be able to prove knowledge of reading blue prints and details within the interview

    *Bilingual is not necessary, but some understanding of Spanish is a plus

Pay commensurate with experience. This is a salaried position.
